What is the cost for Pacific Pines pool service?
Our standard pool service costs $88. Chemicals cost extra. Our Chemicals Included service costs $169. Both prices include GST and the callout fee.
Why is my pool water cloudy?
Cloudy water means something is floating in it. It might be fine particles or algae starting to grow. We test it and add the right chemical to clear it. Call us and we can come fix it fast.
What kind of filter do I have?
Most pools here have a sand or cartridge filter. Each type needs different care. We check your filter at every visit and clean it when it gets clogged.
Can you check my pump and filter?
We inspect the pump, filter and pipes at each visit. We spot wear before it breaks. Fixing small problems now costs less than replacing equipment later.
Which service suits a busy family?
Most busy families pick Chemicals Included. It costs $169 a visit and includes the chemicals. You never buy or store pool chemicals. The Standard service costs $88 and chemicals cost extra.
How much do chemicals add to the cost?
Water testing is in the service price. On the Standard service chemicals cost extra. We only add what your pool needs. A healthy pool needs less chemical than a sick one.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. There is no lock-in contract. You can cancel at any time.
Do I need to be home? What about my dog?
Just tell us how to reach your pool when you book. Mention your dog too. We keep this all on file. Call 0411 953 940 to work out access.
Is Pacific Pines 4211 part of your service area?
Yes. Pacific Pines 4211 is in our service area. We also clean pools next door in Oxenford, Arundel, Helensvale and Coomera. Tell us your street when you book and we find a day that works.
How many hours a day should my pool pump run?
In summer most pools need 8 hours or so. In winter 4 to 6 hours can do the job. A bigger pool or heavy use needs more. Run the pump in the day when the sun burns off chlorine. We check your timer at each visit and set it to suit your pool.
Why do my eyes sting after a swim?
Stinging eyes point to a pH that is out of range. Used-up chlorine can cause it. That chlorine turns into chloramines, which sting. We test the pH and chlorine at each visit and fix the balance. Call us if the whole family comes out with red eyes.
